I’m a writer, speaker, dreamer, and creator in progress.
Ten years ago, I moved to Singapore with wide eyes and a quiet mind. Today, I carry with me a deep sense of belonging, a voice that has grown through each experience, and a heart full of gratitude for the village that helped shape me.
I didn’t always know I loved writing.
It began with quiet journal entries in class, just words on a page that helped me process the world. But over time, those words grew into poems, stories, speeches, and reflections that helped me understand myself and connect with others.
With encouragement from mentors and teachers who believed in me before I believed in myself, I stepped into new spaces... speaking at assemblies, emceeing school events, and eventually helping others express their own voices too.
As a student leader and school ambassador, I’ve had the opportunity to represent my school community with pride — whether through hosting guests, speaking at key events, or simply showing what it means to lead with authenticity. These experiences taught me how to stay grounded, adaptable, and present in the moment.
I’ve also had the chance to mentor peers in public speaking, and participate in creative writing initiatives that pushed me to express more, listen better, and grow through it all. These opportunities didn’t just build my confidence — they shaped my identity, not as someone extraordinary, but as someone willing to try, learn, and contribute.
I believe mistakes are part of learning.
I believe creativity is power.
I believe in lifting others as I rise.
My dream is not just to achieve, but to contribute to inspire others through writing, to mentor future voices, and to serve the community that has shaped mine.
As I grow, I want this website to grow with me, a space where I can:
Share reflections and poetry
Review the books I fall in love with
Showcase my projects and public speaking memories
Honour the small wins and lessons along the way
Singapore is more than a place I live, it’s the place where I found my voice. And this space is where I’ll continue to use it.
Success is not final, Failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts.
- Winston S Churchill
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
Psalms 18:2
